Two podiums for Audette Racing team at Grand Prix de Trois-Rivieres.

Last weekend was held the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivieres. For this annual event, Audette Racing team was there with his three drivers. A very pleasant weekend for our team, where we could make our mark in both races.

Friday was held the now famous night race at sunset. During the race, all three drivers did well in their respective categories. François Audette, who started in 7th place on the grid eventually finished 5th of his group, while his sons, Remy and Mathieu finished 3rd and 4th respectively in their group. It’s already a third podium for Remy this season.

“The start of the race was a bit special” Remy said in an interview with GP3R. “It all started quickly, but the race went well. At first I pushed a little strong and I had to manage my braking and a little later, one of my mirrors was closed because I hit a little bit the wall. But everything went well, the car was good and we will improve it for tomorrow. ”

In the second race on Saturday, things have changed somewhat. First Remy headed right on the podium with a 2nd place after winning three positions from the start of the race. For his brother Mathieu, it’s unfortunately an engine failure that came to interrupt his hopes of a podium. For Francois Audette, it’s a small driving mistake that came to spoil his race, but not his pleasure to drive on a track he knows very well.

The Audette Racing team should be back in CTCC during the Labor Day weekend on the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park track.
