Last weekend was the Fall Classic at Circuit du Mont Tremblant. Despite the rather gray and rainy weather at the beginning of the event, we still managed to make some very good times.
We started the weekend by improving our Summer Classic record by getting the first position in Friday’s qualifying. The next day, we finished in first place in race #1, but were penalized 35 seconds due to an overtaking on a yellow flag that we did not see. The final result was a 4th place.
Due to this position at the end of the race, we left in 4th place for race #2. But we still won the race. And what better way to complete this wonderful weekend than to win the last race with very fast times, maintaining about 3.5 seconds per lap on the 2nd place. These results were enough for us to win the Fall Classic in the end.
This year has been a dream season for us, starting with three 2nd places and a 1st place on the Varac circuit. The season continued with three wins at the Tremblant classics. The quality of the preparation of
our cars by our mechanics Jocelyn and Claude, makes our cars, both the MGB and the Camaro, very reliable and easy to drive. We would like to take this opportunity to thank them very much for a fantastic season.
This concludes our racing season. For next year, we are evaluating the possibility of changing classes with our cars. We will be able to tell you more early next year if we decide to go that route. For now, we would like to thank our sponsors who are present year after year. We would also like to thank our computer man (also called our “secretary”) as well as our supporters who often come to visit us.
